The Bushwalker Brown

The Bush Walker, made by Bill Conner, has a slightly lower crown than the Bac Pac hat. This hat is easy to fold and snaps back into shape when you unfold it. It is an ideal hat for when you travel! The skin has been treated with oils and washed to make the hat water resistant. The hat has a UPF value of 50+, which means that it repels 98% and only transmits 2% UV radiation.

It’s a great hat with a nice brim around the hat. The band is branded with the beautiful BC-hat logo that has been around for more than 50 years. On the inside of the hat, just like with the Bac Pac hat, is the absorbent sweatband made of leather. The hat is cooler than you would expect due to the absorbent sweatband and the breathable two holes on the side.

The Bushwalker is portable all year round. The unique construction ensures that the Bushwalker leather hat is breathable and absorbent in the summer, making it cool on your head. The material has two functions, because in the winter the leather ensures that your head stays warm. The hat therefore stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. If your leather hat got wet during a rain shower? Then it is important that the hat can dry in a natural way. This means that you should not let the hat dry near a heat source. The leather can then dry out and crack.

Special feature of BC Hats * UPF 50+

The UPF value can be found on sunscreen, for example. This value indicates which part of the UV radiation is blocked. 50+ is the highest attainable value, only 2% of the UV radiation is transmitted with this value.
